Engagement Explained Live - 19 June 2019
Over the last year, the Engaged Journalism Accelerator has worked to identify, support, inspire and connect organisations and individuals doing community-driven journalism.
In that time, we’ve found over 100 news organisations in Europe that are putting the communities they serve at the core of their reporting, impact and revenue. More of these newsrooms are emerging all the time.
We want to celebrate their efforts and provide a space where community-driven news organisations can showcase their work and share what they have learnt with others following in their path.
Join us in Berlin on 19 June 2019 for our showcase event, Engagement Explained Live, to:
- learn from engaged journalism practitioners across Europe
- take part in lively discussions and practical workshops
- discuss challenges to doing engaged journalism and how to overcome them
- map out opportunities to collaborate on stories and other initiatives
Registration is open now and tickets are limited so be quick to sign up. It will close at midnight CEST on Friday 10 May. More information about the event schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
We’re also offering ten travel allowances for participants of Engagement Explained Live to help with the cost of travel and accommodation. Read our FAQs for information about eligibility and apply here.
